List of Needed Items

People often ask what items we use at the rescue that they could donate, as not everyone has a spare chinchilla cage lying around!  So, here we go!
​

  • white vinegar

  • isoprophyl alcohol (70%)

  • simple green

  • Clorox clean-up (spray bottle or refill)

  • laundry detergent

  • paper towels (!!!)

  • printer paper

  • index cards (3x5 or 4x6)

  • ziploc baggies (snack, sandwich, quart, and gallon size -- most needed are quart and gallon)

  • sharpies

  • note cards

  • food coloring

  • gift card to home depot or menards (for wood)

  • dish soap

  • scrubbies

  • kleenex

  • alcohol wipes / sterilizing wipes

  • packaging tape

  • starbucks frappucino bottles -- we can use these (with a stopper / tube) for water bottles

  • fleece (blizzard or anti-pill) / even small scraps of fleece we can use to stuff our cuddlebuddies!

  • plain cheerios (yellow box)

  • old fashioned oats (not quick-cook!)

  • un-frosted shredded wheat squares

  • used small animal cages & supplies
